What is homeopathy?

In homeopathy the entire body is gently strengthened which creates overall health, mental clarity, higher energy and a general sense of well-being. As the person's vitality grows stronger, chronic complaints tend to fall away. The person becomes less susceptible to acute ailments, which is how Homeopathy can improve the immune system, help to prevent disease and create lasting health..

What can homeopathy treat?

Homeopathy can treat many symptoms including the following: anxiety, depression, irritability, behavioral problems, allergies, headaches, fatigue, insomnia, digestive complaints, and skin conditions. Because homeopathy is scientifically based on similarities in symptoms, there are LIMITLESS chronic ailments that can be treated gently and effectively. Remedies are derived from the natural world and are prepared in homeopathic pharmacies, are nontoxic and regulated by the FDA. The ultimate goal in Homeopathy is cure, meaning the person is free from symptoms, has an increase in vitality, and is able to move forward with their life in a balanced state.

Who can homeopathy help?

People of all ages can be helped with homeopathy. From newborns to senior citizens, homeopathic remedies are safe because they are extremely diluted, non-toxic and do not interfere with other medications. Homeopathy treats the person and how they express their symptoms, not just the disease. It is common that two people suffering from similar chronic conditions will receive different remedies.

History

Homeopathy was founded by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in the 18th century and is based on his “Law of Similars ” that states, “Like cures like.” When a substance capable of producing certain symptoms is given to a healthy person, it will cure those same symptoms in an ill person. This philosophy has been scientifically proven to work gently and permanently when done well.

What to expect in a consultation

For chronic ailments, a health history form must be completed before the initial intake. The initial appointment will take an hour and 45 minutes, where I gather information in order to study and find the best fitting remedy, which can take anywhere from two days to up to a week to come to the final decision. When this process is complete, I'll call and arrange for the remedy to be picked up with instructions. A follow up appointment is scheduled for 3 weeks so the outcome may be evaluated and as health is restored, visits become less needed.

For acute ailments, the intake usually takes 30-45 minutes and a remedy conclusion can usually be ready that day.

• Constitutional case: $185 (includes 1.5 hour intake, study time and remedy)
• Follow up: $75 (30 minutes to an hour)

Cash and check are accepted; payment plans are available. Payment is expected at the time of your visit.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call 24 hours in advance. Barring emergencies, there will be a charge for missed first appointments that were not cancelled within the 24-hour period.

Alyssa Beck began studying holistic health in Albuquerque, NM where she attended the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. Here, she was introduced to Homeopathy, flower essences, Shiatsu, whole foods nutrition, herbology, massage therapy, reflexology, core synchronism and polarity. She has been practicing massage therapy in the Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Teton Valley, Idaho area since 2000 but always felt there had to be more to finding true health. After experiencing astounding results in her own healing process through Classical Homeopathy, she decided to take her studies a step further and attend the three year program at the Homeopathy School International in Boulder, Colorado. She now has a flourishing practice based from Victor, Idaho and continues to deepen her knowledge of Classical Homeopathy through her clients' healing processes.
